Wow, has it really been 3 months since our last update???
It's sure felt like a whirlwind time for us.
I'll try to do a quick recap and catch you up a bit. Be prepared for LOTS of collages! :)
We've done lots of exploring around our new neighborhood - the most fun so far has been the 'farm' at Northwest Park. The girls love seeing all the animals.
Before we closed on our new home, Rich and I went to Napa Valley for a few days and my sister came to stay with the girls. These are some pictures she took of another fun time at Northwest Park. What fun!!

Soon after we returned we were finally able to close on our house!! What a relief! Time to make it ours!
The day after we moved in was Lauren's 2nd Birthday - we opened gifts at the Inn we were staying in and then Rich got us an ice cream cake to celebrate before my sister had to leave to go back to MN. A low-key birthday for us this year but definitely LOTS going on.
While Rich was travelling the girls and I tried out a local pumpkin patch. Still can't believe how HOT it was on a nice FALL weekend. We were sweating on the hayride! Ha! :)The girls enjoying their new yard!

Lauren and I went to another pumpkin patch with our MOPS group. A little cooler this time but still beautiful!
My parents came the end of October and were able to go to Audrey's school for a pumpkin decorating evening. A few days after they came we lost power in the big "NorEaster"...CRAZY time!!! It lasted for a week and we had fun eating and playing by candlelight and huddling to stay warm. :) I don't think Mom and Dad will ever forget this visit! ;)
Halloween!!
Unfortunately no Trick or Treating happened...except for some sweet neighbors! :) We were sad to see Papa and Gramma go... :(
We got some family photos and Lauren's 2 year old pictures taken in November. We "lucked" out after the storm and had some beautiful weather and got some pictures in our own yard using one of the downed trees and many of the fallen leaves. We're glad to have that all cleaned up now but it sure did make for some nice backdrops.
Thanksgiving weekend day trip to the shore!
A local Children's Play Museum and picking Audrey up from school. Always a highlight of the day for Lauren. :)
Our cute little elves decorating their playroom for Christmas!
Our family Christmas!! It was the year of slippers and princess items that's for sure. What a blessing to celebrate together and enjoy the smiles on their faces and thankfulness for all the fun things they received yet not forgetting the real reason we celebrate. "Baby Jesus!" :)
Audrey's 1st Christmas concert! The kids did SO well - warmed my heart right up to celebrate this most precious season.
Well, hopefully this catches you up a bit on our happenings! Next up is Christmas in Minnesota!
