MN Christmas!

We went 'home' to Minnesota for Christmas this year and even though it had just been a little over 3 months since we had seen everybody it hardly seemed like time had passed.  The girls loved flying on the plane to get there and my family surprised us by meeting us at the airport when we got in!  Talk about a couple excited girls!  :)  My Mom and Dad hosted us for the week and allowed us to visit with many family and some friends too.  Never enough time for everyone but we made a pretty good dent in our 'list'.

Audrey was so excited to give Papa and Gramma the gifts she bought them at school.  :)  Papa got a snowman decoration and Gramma got gingerbread hotpads.  Love seeing the joy in Audrey's eyes giving them their gifts...by the way she gave Rich a tape measure, Lauren a pony toy and I got a prayer journal notebook, "because I know you like to read, mom."  hehehe  :)  Thank you sweet Audrey!

Christmas Eve! 

The girls having their bonding times with cousins, aunts, and uncles.  A fun time was had by all!  See that little baker's outfit Lauren was wearing.  She wore it daily from the time she got up until bed time.  I think you can say it was/is a hit!  :)

 Christmas Morning!
Santa came to Minnesota!!  :)

The next day Michele and Brittany took us Downtown to the Macy's 8th Floor display.  We had the place to ourselves for a bit and it was fun to actually spend some time at each spot.  The girls would go through the displays and then go backwards and do it all over again. :) 

 Tuesday morning we met Mike, Jodi and the kids at the Minnesota Zoo.  We never got to see the new Penguin exhibit before we left MN so it was fun to finally see it completed.  A great time visiting!

 And then it was time to go...  Thankful for such wonderul family times together and we will treasure the memories made!

We sure miss our family and friends but it is good to be HOME!!
