Lauren decided it was time to get some pretty pink earrings!! We've asked her a few times if she's wanted to get her ears pierced but she's always said, no, not yet. Today we were at the mall and she saw Claire's in the distance and she asked if she could get them pierced. We were a little surprised and asked her if she was sure. I reminded her that it would probably hurt a little bit and if she wanted to wait that was fine. Nope, she was ready and quickly picked out some tiny cute pink posts. She waited patiently in line for the girl in front of us to get done. Lauren hopped up in the chair and Audrey reminded her that she could hold on to the Claire's Bear so she did. She did really well getting the little purple dots on her ears that would show us and the lady where the earrings would go. Then out came the "guns"... After the first ear she got the "I just got shots, face..." :( But she was still and let the lady do the other ear. YAY! We were so proud of her and so was Audrey and she settled down pretty quickly once she saw her new earrings and she was so proud to carry around her Claire's bag which told the world (or at least the other shoppers in the mall) that she had just gotten her ears pierced! So fun!!
