Audrey's 3 year well check

Audrey had her well check today and Rich got to come and meet us there from work. My parents watched Lauren at home so that Audrey could have our undivided attention. That was such a blessing to focus on her. :)
She loves playing with the Thomas the train table in the waiting area and drawing on the chalk board wall.

The doctor said she is doing very well and even gave us some good tips to help with her potty training. She's pretty much 100% "potty" trained...just working on going #2 in the potty. ;) Any other tips you guys have will not be turned down. :)

Here are her stats:
41.5" long/tall (100%) - she was 37" long (at her 2 year check up)
40 lbs. (97%) - she was 34 lbs. last time
She got two shots and the flu mist. She was very brave and did cry a bit but as soon as the nurse was done asked through tears "Are we all done now??" :( Broke my heart but the grape icee pop the nurse gave her when she was done seemed to cure it all very quickly. :)

We promised her a special ice cream cone treat from McDonald's after her appointment and while we were waiting in the drive-thru she tells me:
Audrey: Mommy, I can still feel my bandaids.Me: You mean your legs still hurt from the shots?Audrey: Yes, and I just can't stop crying...
Such a smart little sweetie. She did enjoy her ice cream cone and had lunch and then off to naptime! It's so hard being 3...

Moments like these are so precious. (I'm going to miss them when Ben and Grace get older). Who knew something as routine as a doctor visit might create such nice memories! Glad everything is going good! Thanks for sharing! :)
