Today our baby girl is 14 months old! She's turning into more of a little toddler than a baby and it's so exciting to see her grow and explore. She is into EVERYTHING and loves everything that big sister Audrey is playing with. Audrey is learning to be patient and how to share. They are both such loving little girls and for that we are so grateful.

For Thanksgiving we traveled to Michigan to spend some great times with Rich's brother's family. This was Lauren's first time on an airplane and she did very well. She was a bit wiggly but at least she didn't scream or cry. We were thankful to have a whole row to ourselves - the benefit for having to pay for Audrey now. Although we're now debating just going ahead and paying for a ticket for Lauren too so we could bring her carseat to strap her in. ;)
We arrived Wednesday afternoon and it took the girls about 2.5 seconds to totally feel at home and loving up their cousins and the dog, Miss Bella!

Is it wrong that both of our girls wanted to play in Bella's cage? Audrey would literally BEG to go in there! LOL! I swear we don't have one at home, but we are considering it now after seeing how much they loved it. ;) We had an amazing meal and great family time together. Aunt Marcy had a great idea to have each of us write down 5 things we were thankful for and we went around the table and read them aloud. Such a neat keepsake. Can you believe the family resemblance between Uncle Skip and Audrey - it's uncanny!

Playtime!! Lauren's favorite game is peek-a-boo and cousin Ben was more than happy to oblige her. The firetruck was a big hit too! Many times of pushing Lauren around the "loop".

"Christmas" time!! How fun to have Christmas early! The girls had a great time opening up their presents and watching their cousins open theirs too. Such fun! Bella even got a couple gifts but I think she already knew because that was one of the first things Audrey told her when we arrived! Ha! No secrets with her!

Playtime!

A trip to their beautiful conservatory. Such a breath of fresh air after our cold and snowy home.

Such beautiful plants, trees, flowers, etc. Audrey said that pineapple was just her size. :) Seeing all of this reminds me of what an incredible Creator we have that can dream up so many different kinds of plant life. Another thing to be thankful for that's for sure.

Thanks Skip, Marcy, Caleb, Jason, Ben and of course Miss Bella for hosting such a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are thankful for all of you!
XOXO
