It was a fabulous day to celebrate up our little 1 year old!! I had such a blast finding everything ladybug and even though she can't appreciate just yet it was fun seeing it through Audrey's eyes and she made sure everyone that came saw all the touches. ;)
Audrey could hardly wait for everyone to get here - asking as soon as she got up from her nap if her cousins would be there soon. The pinata was a big hit...or should I say "pull". ;) Lauren loved getting in on the action too and it was cousin Jonny that pulled the string to pop open the ladybug!! :)
GRAB THE CANDY!!!! LOL! It was so much fun to watch the kids (ahem and Rolf) dive after the candy. Audrey thought Uncle Rolf was being serious about taking the candy and she was pushing him back and trying to stop him. :) Lauren was so happy to fit as many pieces of candy in her hands (and mouth) as possible. :)

It was the year of clothes for Miss Lauren and she loved it! She tried everything on as best she could. She did get a few toys that big sister is trying to claim (we're working on that!). What a blessing to receive so many precious gifts from friends and family. Thanks everyone!!
Cake time!! We got the free birthday cake from Byerly's and then I made her a ladybug cake too. She did not stuff it in her face (just like her sister) but did love demolishing it!
Nothing quite like the feeling of fresh birthday cake squished between your fingers...or so I've heard. :)
Yummy!! Then off to the bathtub with big sis! :) A perfect ending to a wonderful 1st birthday party!
